A message from our NGO Key Worker

Since SAGE started, we have continued to reach out to the less fortunate in our society by giving girls an equal opportunity. SAGE continues to scale the heights in making sure that the girl child accesses quality, affordable, universal education fully just like their boy counterpart.

During 2014 we increased from 6 to 12 schools reaching over 600 girls each month. The year’s performance by girls was good and we are looking forwards to a good performance this year as well. During the year we made good contacts with a number of organisations in Kenya including a campaign by the Counties First Ladies to raise pads for girls dubbed A Million Pads (AMPAD). We are actively involved in the campaign in five Counties in Western Kenya – Kisii, Migori, Nyamira, Siaya and Busia.

We could not have achieved what we have without the consistent and timely support from our parent organisation, Sage in Kenya, and our partners here in Kenya. Special thanks go to the Ministries of Education and Health, ZanaAfrica, Salsor Business Solutions, the NGO Board and Rev. Benjamin Ochieng.
